A Message to the Greedy

If you’ve made it this far — and you happen to be a shareholder, a streaming exec, or anyone profiting from the sweat and soul of musicians — take a moment. Just one.

We see you.We know you’re out there — watching numbers climb while paying crumbs. You feed off our heartbreaks, our melodies, our truths — and call it a “business model.”

But we don’t write for you.We don’t bleed into microphones so you can buy another yacht. We do it for connection, for expression, for survival.

So to the Spotify suits, the algorithm kings, and the profit prophets —know this:

We are not your product. We are not your content. We are not your clickbait.

We are artists. And while you may own the platforms, you will never own the music.

One day, people will remember where the real value came from. Not from shares, but from shared experience. Not from stock prices, but from songs that saved lives.

Until then — enjoy your spreadsheets.

We’ve got music to make.
